This ripe Pinot Gris has a rich concentration of exotic spice, peach and melon on the palate backed by flinty mineral nuances. It is weighty with a smooth and supple mouthfeel, yet this richness is well balanced by a crisp acidity that all combines to create a beautiful wine which lingers on the palate.
The Alsace region is a thin strip of steep hillside vineyards is in northeast France. It is protected by the Vosges mountains to the west. 400 years on, J-B Adam remains in safe family hands, guided by the 14th generation of Adams, Jean-Baptiste and his daughters Laure, Pauline and Marie.
It is ideal with smoked fish and flavoursome fish dishes.
