The OG Extended Ball Stud Kit is a pack of high-quality custom machined stainless steel 10mm ball studs that have an extended shank beyond what is commercially available.

Do I need it?

The Polaris General tip-out front windshield system has two vertical gas pressurized strut assemblies responsible for lifting the glass windshield into position when operating the tip-out function.  The bodies of the gas struts will come in contact with the OG TRIconnect cage mounted brackets, supplied in the OG front triangle filler kit & SideskinsLITE upper door package.  If you are using either of those OnlyGenerals products in conjunction with the Polaris tip-out glass windshield, then you will need this OGXT-10M8-SS extended ball stud kit.

OnlyGenerals has developed this product as an easy to install kit that replaces the shorter Polaris 10mm ball studs which do not allow for adequate clearance with the OG TRIconnect snap on cage brackets.  This product has been found to work on the Polaris Ranger tip-out windshield system when adding electric openers as well may work with other Polaris platforms.
