One of our team members spotted this beauty and couldn’t resist buying it. Another wasn’t impressed at first, until they got their hands on it. After playing it, their whole perspective completely changed.
This is a circuit bent TR-505, modified by exFade. There really is not a lot of information about it online, but we can tell you it is a super fun little machine, capable of some pretty great and also glitchy sounds.
This TR-505 is a Fully customised unit with extensive circuit-bending mods:

Global pitch adjust: With dedicated on/off switch

Master audio glitch bends: 2 toggle switches + 2 push buttons

3-way bend matrix switch: Alters the tone of specific drum sounds, with 2 additional on/off switches

Dedicated fader for every drum voice: Controls volume to the main mix

All bends interact with each other: Producing unique, experimental, and highly dynamic percussive textures

Condition:
- This is a used unit.
- For what it is, this unit is in good physical condition. The modification was done by hand, the added panels and LED, switches etc look like they were all lined up by eye, it wasn't perfectly measured out (Unlike the actual bends, which were executed very well). The paint job is fun. The TR-505 does not have its text which tells you what each button is, but the new owner could add it on with a label maker, or refer to a picture of a TR-505. Overall it is a cool and unique piece.
- In some of the photos the screen looks a bit dull. This is due to the angle the photos were taken at. The screen is clear and easy to read. It has a light darker patch in the middle, however this does not affect its legibility. Please see all photos.
- This unit has been thoroughly tested and it all seems to be working really well. We did not note any faults or buttons / switches / faders which were not working.
- This unit powers off a 9V negative centre power adapter. It uses AA batteries to support the memory back up circuit. A power supply will be included for AU buyers only. (Batteries are not included).
