"Blitzes are brief surface feeding chaos and the RIO Blitz Line is like using the drive through window at a fast food joint. The short, heavy head loads the rod quickly, so the fly gets delivered with minimal false casting and an improved thicker running line makes retrieving and recasting a dream. The Blitz Line is not some one trick pony. It can deliver big nasty flies into tight cover or reach out with long probing casts. This taper and running line setup is also good for beginning casters, because the rod loads easily with less false casting."
