The BD Diesel ProForce 10D Torque Converter is a heavy-duty automatic transmission upgrade for Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel and the Aisin AS69RC transmission. Built for towing, hauling, and high-torque performance applications, this converter is designed to deliver stronger holding power, improved durability, and smooth operation under increased load.
This multi-disc torque converter features a 20% thicker billet cover, a billet apply piston, a billet clutch hub, and an increased clutch count with 10 friction surfaces made up of 5 friction plates and 5 steel plates. The added clutch capacity helps provide 67% more torque holding capability, making it a strong choice for modified trucks and demanding work use.
By retaining the OEM clutch damper assembly and captured clutch technology, the ProForce 10D is engineered to maintain factory-like drivability while eliminating the harsh engagement often associated with heavy-duty converters. Assembled to OEM standards, it is built for long-term reliability in high-load diesel applications.
Note: This torque converter requires a refundable core deposit. It is intended for trucks equipped with the Aisin AS69RC automatic transmission.
