Delphinium Galahad Delphinium Cultorum is a herbaceous perennial and one of the most impressive garden flowers. Often grown from seeds Delphinium Galahad is a variety from Pacific Giant Hybrids series, and this spectacular flowering plant can reach 6 feet in height. Attractive clumps of deep-green, textured foliage with sharply-toothed leaves and columns of large, pure-white flowers with a white center make Delphinium Galahad one of the most magnificent perennial flowers to grow. Delphinium blooms in summer attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, and the plant can have secondary blooms in fall if the flower stalks are removed right after first round of flowering.
Delphinium Galahad are great flower for background planting in perennial borders, and Delphinium is one of the best tall growing plants for group planting, cutting and cottage gardens and mass planting in naturalized areas. Generally, the Delphinium Cultorum seeds do not need any special treatment for successful germination, and the established Delphinium grows and blooms best in full sun preferring rich, moist well drained soil. Delphinium Pacific Giant Hybrids are tall growing flowering plants with heavy flower spikes on tall flower stems, so the staking is almost required in order to prevent the stems from breaking.
