Carli Suspension CS-DLTB-12-D Long Travel Air Bag System (1-2" Rear Lift)

The Carli Suspension Long Travel Air Bag System CS-DLTB-12-D is designed for 1-2" rear lift applications on the Ram 2500/3500, providing a solution for heavy-duty trucks that traditionally ride rough. Carli Suspension has created this system with the goal of improving ride quality while maintaining payload capacity. If you've swapped out your factory leaf springs for a softer ride, these airbags allow you to restore your truck's load-carrying capability without sacrificing comfort.

Carli's airbag design is unlike traditional airbags. By working with their manufacturer, they developed airbags with BILLET upper and lower pistons. The tapered design of the pistons - a larger upper piston and a smaller lower piston - reduces the ramping of spring rate as the bag compresses. Unlike traditional double-bellow airbag kits that can result in harsh, unpredictable ride quality, Carli's tapered piston design provides smoother compression and rebound, creating a more controlled ride. This minimizes the "bounce" and ensures better handling during travel.

The airbags are limited to a 2,000lb (each) capacity at a 100psi working load, although they can withstand much higher pressures, with tests showing a burst pressure of 500-600psi. This setup allows for long-lasting durability and performance in real-world applications, including when towing heavy loads.

This kit comes complete with all necessary brackets and hardware, air fittings, 1/4" airline (for compressor or manual fill), and Schrader valves for easy manual inflation, ensuring reliable operation. Carli designed this system to be fully compatible with progressive springs for Rams, restoring factory payload while offering adjustable rear loaded height.
