Playtime: 45–90 Min

A witch named Hester was hung, burned, and buried under a tree. But her story doesn't end there. Years later, Hester's family arrives in Harrow County with one goal: to destroy it. Standing in their way, however, is 18-year-old Emmy, who mysteriously possesses powers of her own.

In Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict from Off the Page Games, players engage in an asymmetric combat experience set in this eerie, haunted world. You can choose to play as one of the Protectors, striving to rescue the townsfolk, or as a member of Hester's vengeful family, bent on destroying Harrow County. There's also a third faction—Emmy's twin sister, Kammi, who has her own dark designs and seeks to rule over Harrow County.

The game features hex-based gameplay where players activate mason jars to move their haints (undead creatures) around the board, attempting to accomplish their missions. Combat is resolved with a unique cube tower, ingeniously built into the game box. But there's more—a third player can join as Hester herself, the dead witch buried under the tree. Hester controls the roots of the tree and can infect haints through the cube tower, placing a snake in their ear and allowing her to co-control them. If Hester comes back to life, she must consume the other legends to regain her full power and win the game.

This thematic, tactical game of territory control and enemy elimination brings the eerie world of Harrow County to life, as players determine its ultimate fate.

Good
Format: Paperback
Not as impactful as its predecessor, but still an enjoyable novel. The concepts tackled here are more new adult, though still plenty of young adult to go around.

Beautiful
Format: Paperback
Not as I expected, I kinda was hoping for more of a storyline connected to the first book, or even a pt2, but nonetheless still such a beautiful book filled with love and I definitely say it’s worth reading and adding to your collection ! Just to clarify it does included the old characters but mainly not till the end, and only for a few chapters. Still so wonderful !

I wanted more
Format: Kindle
This one fell a little flat. The ending felt rushed after so much build up. I still am happy to have read it and to learn more about the LGBTQIA experience - even if fictional.

Not as good as the prequel but still amazing
Format: Hardcover
This book made me laugh cry and everything in between. In my opinion, Last Night at The Telegraph Club was a better book overall but this one was also good and i love the way the prequels story was connected to this books main character. I will say the beginning is a bit dry but it picks up towards the middle, stick with it!
