Dit is de koningswijn van wijnhuis Cornarea, een echte krachtpatser gemaakt van de volledige Nebbiolo druiven uit het Roer gebied. De druiven voor deze Italiaanse rode wijn komen van de allermooiste wijngaard van Cornarea die slechts twee hectare groot is. Maar laten we beginnen met de geschiedenis van wijnhuis Cornarea, want door de jaren heen is het nog steeds een familie wijnhuis. Het is gestart door een echtpaar genaamd Piero en Francesca en een aantal jaren later kwamen daar hun zonen Gian Nicola en Pierfranco bij. Er worden wijnen gemaakt met de grootste zorg en precisie en dat proeven we ook terug. Het wijnhuis startte in het jaar 1970 en is bekend geworden door de witte Arneis wijn die voor die tijd helemaal was uitgestorven in de regio. Door veel wilskracht en souplesse is de Arneis weer helemaal terug en daar is de regio trots op. Maar om terug te komen op deze groot meester want dat is het, gaan we naar de linkeroever van de Tanaro-rivier want daar staat het hele kleine stukje wijngaard van Cornarea.Houtlagering voor de Cornarea Roero Nebbiolo
De wijngaard kreeg een docg-benaming (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) in 2005 en werd daarmee de derde Nebbiolo-docg in het Langa-Roero-gebied, samen met Barolo en Barbaresco. Voor deze rode wijn word enkel de Nebbiolo druif gebruikt die afkomstig is van de historische Cornarea cru, eigendom van het bedrijf en gevestigd in Canale d'Alba. Deze stad is de wijnproducerende hoofdstad van Roero, een gebied waar al sinds de oudheid Nebbiolo-wijn wordt geproduceerd. Het is dus de zogezegde "Barolo" van het Roer gebied, en daar zijn wij het helemaal mee eens. Na de handmatige oogst rijpt deze rode wijn maar liefst 18 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. Hij ontwikkeld zich tot een ware ster en de fust lagering ondergaat hij nog eens een fles lagering van 6 maanden. De flessen worden opgeslagen in de kelders van Cornarea en pas naar boven gehaald als de wijn in top conditie is.De beste rode wijn van Cornarea
Maak hem maar snel open want hij moet altijd even gedecanteerd worden. Tijdens het decanteren zien we een prachtige licht rode kleur met bruine gloed. De geur is complex, met een pittige toon en een balsamico indruk. Het bevat geuren van pruimen, viooltjes, morello-kers en zoethout. De smaak is tong strelend, veel zwart fruit met daarbij veel kruiden. Smaakvol met een elegante structuur en lichte tannines. Best Relationship Book!!
Format: Hardcover
First, I wish I had this book 25 years ago. Sure, I had the Bible and knew all the Christian 'rules' but Rev. Todd lays everything out so well, even the details that have gotten lost or glazed over through the decades of Christian teachings. The way he presents each phase is superb! I love, love, love his authentic writings on God's love for each of us. You can tell Rev. Todd is a man of deep faith but most of all, he is just a person that, like all of us, mess up.
His writings are real, authentic, relatable, inspiring and exactly what this world needs.
I do hope Rev. Todd continues to write on other topics.
I have been truly blessed by this book!

Read It All
Format: Hardcover
First Impression and Why I Bought It: This book was very informative and may be a fresh read for some people. I bought it during a time of my life when I wasn't sure what I wanted out of my relationship because I was struggling with an unrealistic and teenage way of dating as a young adult.
About/From the Book: I learned the value of singleness and what it would mean to move forward in a healthy, committed relationship. It can be a good basis for any young person looking for guidance in how to maximize your singleness; learning yourself--what you like and don't like, what you want to do/don't--how to set realistic expectations for yourself in pursuit of a partner, how dating should go based on biblical standards but it teaches how to do that in a practical and modern way. Throughout the book the value in your relationship with God and how the value of that relationship flows into your romantic, friend, and business/work-related relationships is tied together. So if you're single or dating and you want to gain a different perspective of how to navigate your period of singleness using a modern biblical practice but also just relevant to Gen X, check this out.
Would I recommend? Yes.
Who would I recommend it to? 18-24 y/os.
My Appliances: Ironically, after reading this book I did take up new skill, figured out what I wanted in my relationship, and recommend it to a friend who bought a copy. And regarding the biblical based modern dating technique, it can be done, it just takes maturity and restraint. Although being an adult where I am now in life, I think that if you're with someone that you know, that you know you're going to marry then hiccups may occur when trying to apply that, especially when you're attracted to that person, haha.
Conclusion: Please read the book in an objective format, yes some things can be taken literally, but life isn't gonna happen the way he describes it. These are just rules of thumb to reference as you do life and apply at your own discretion.

I am only in the first chapter of the book, but Relationship Goals has already brought clarity and is connecting the dots to things I have been struggling with in my relationships. I instinctively have the intentions to be the best person I can for myself and others. I was self sabotaging myself due to lacking the proper guidance that I’ve been searching for. Hitting a low level in my life, a lot of my relationships have been destroyed due to lack of knowledge. We all know what we want out of a relationship but seem to fall short and miscommunication then shatters our true intentions. The book is a reminder of God’s natural law and the purpose he planned over my life. It’s a manual on how to use his word to navigate and win in relationships. If your like me and you love your family and friends, but deep down inside you want more then what they can help you with. Turn back to God, grab this book, read and listen with faith!!! You will know how to move forward and get back to living an abundant life.
This book is for everyone in any relationship situation that has a plan but need the step by outline on how to get to the goal. Relationship Goals is a easy to read recipe book! It has a hint of relatability to millennials, dash of scripture references, and cup full of Pastor Michael Todd’s advice and humor.
