Onze vuurschalen zijn gemaakt van cordieriet keramiek. Cordieriet maakt het keramiek harder en beter bestand tegen hitte en temperatuurswisselingen, zodat deze langer mee gaat. Mocht je toch een ongelukje hebben met je vuurring, geen nood, we hebben ze in 5 maten!

De juiste maat van je vuurschaal bepalen

Het handigst is om de afmetingen van je originele vuurschaal op te meten. Is dit niet meer mogelijk, dan is het belangrijk om de binnendiameter van je kamado op te meten op de hoogte tot waar de vuurring komt (bij de 15" schaal is dat 15,5 cm van de bodem). De buitendiameter van de bovenzijde (33 cm) moet daar ruim inpassen. Houd als leidraad aan dat tussen de schaal en de wand van de kamado rondom een vingerbreedte ruimte zit (ook handig met het plaatsen van de schaal).

Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
