Ik ken de reeks al langer en heb zelf ook een aantal boekjes thuis. Maar omdat jullie ze zo vaak benoemen, heb ik toch maar besloten om ze voortaan ook voor de winkel in te kopen.

Deze boekjes zijn super bijzonder omdat ze het leven van bekende personen vertellen, vertrekkende vanuit hun eigen kindertijd en je meenemen doorheen alle dingen die zijn gebeurd in hun leven, zodat ze zijn gaan doen wat ze nu doen.

Een leeftijd plakken op deze boekjes is zeer moeilijk, maar je kan als richtlijn zeker gebruiken dat de meeste boekjes met een vrij luchtig thema kunnen vanaf drie jaar. Boekjes met een zwaarder thema, bijvoorbeeld zoals het verhaal van Anne Frank, zou ik iets later gebruiken. Ook fijn is dat je helemaal op het einde van het boekje een korte samenvatting kan vinden met feiten over deze persoon, waardoor het verhaal toch een grote educatieve waarde krijgt en bijvoorbeeld ook nog fijn is om met oudere kindjes te gebruiken.

Poor Grind Mechanisms
