Het Shure M44 element is voor twee verschillende toepassingen gemaakt. Een speciale reeks voor DJ's, met een "extra zwaar aangezette laagweergave" én in een "normale" (neutrale) Hifi-reeks. Verder is bij dit soort elementen, een beter element voor meer dan 95% een betere naald. Met de betere naalden voor deze elementen kan de weergavekwaliteit dus nog enorm worden opgevoerd.

De hifi-naalden zijn er verder in een "low-compliance" uitvoering, (compliantie= bewegelijkheid/veerkracht) bedoeld voor zware en/of simpele, niet instelbare, platenspeler-armen en in een "high-compliance" uitvoering, bedoeld voor platenspelers met een "fatsoenlijk" instelbare arm. Voor de Shure M44/55 hifi-elementen, plus de door het Japanse Jico gemaakte remakes van dit element (J44 & J50) zijn dus nog een hele rij Hifi-naalden leverbaar, tot verrassende topnaalden aan toe. Onderstaand de hifi-naalden:

  • In de laag compliante uitvoering, (compliantie = bewegelijkheid/veerkracht) zijn er de volgende "Swiss-made" standaardnaalden: De sferische universele (0,7mil) diamantnaald, voor het afspelen van zowel mono als stereo-vinylplaten, (Geeft wel meer plaatslijtage bij stereo-vinyl) artikelnummer 450267, de "normale" standaard sferische stereo diamantnaald (0,5mil), artikelnummer 400267 én de betere elliptische N44E diamantnaald, artikelnummer 401039.
  • In de hoogcompliante uitvoering zijn er de volgende "Swiss-made" standaard naalden: De standaard sferische N44G diamantnaald, artikelnummer 406361 en de betere elliptische N55E diamantnaald, artikelnummer 410274.

Verder maakt de Japanse topfabrikant Jico de volgende (hoog-compliante) naalden voor deze elementen, waarmee het een compleet ander en beter element wordt:

  • De Jico/Shure J44D/M44G improved 0,5 mil "naked diamond" uitvoering onder nummer 477040 en de J44A7/M44/7 improved 0,5 mil "naked diamond" uitvoering onder nummer 477041
  • Een drietal zeer bijzondere en verrassende, speciaal geslepen "Naked Diamond" naalden op bijzondere houten cantilevers, voor een ongehoord levendige en warme weergave, ook van oude en "doorleefde" platencollecties: Op een "Kurogaki wood cantilever" onder nummer 477090, op een "Ushikoroshi wood cantilever" onder nummer 477092 én op een "Yurushi-Iro wood cantilever" onder nummer 477142
  • Tenslotte zijn er voor de M44 en M55 elementen ook nog een aantal speciale naalden: De speciale N44C jukeboxnaald onder nummer 400360, 2 speciale 1mil mono naalden onder de nummers 401724 & 477167 en een speciale 78rpm diamantnaald onder nummer 430267.



Naalddruk instelbaar tussen 1,75 en 4gram, optimum 2,5gram.

Let op ! De Garrard spelers werden destijds ook zonder element geleverd, zodat een element van eigen voorkeur kon worden gemonteerd, vergelijk de oude naald dus even goed met de afbeelding op onze site. Stuur bij twijfel een foto van de oude naald naar [email protected]

Perfect Dog Toys!

My dogs absolutely love these! My problem was I have two (of 4) that play ball. One is 15#'s and the other is 40#'s. So, I couldn't decide on the size. I decided on the medium, and they have been perfect. My smaller dog has a bit of a problem holding on to the ball, but he can get his mouth around it. For my larger dog, it's not so small I'm worried about her swallowing it. So, the size was perfect! These are thick enough neither of my tough chewers have been able to penetrate the balls, but soft enough they can easily pick them up. They have that squeak that drives my dogs nuts. The little faces on them are cute. We have spent hours playing ball with our two dogs with these balls. They absolutely love them. My small dog brings them to me constantly. Although. of the 7, it's a miracle if we know where 2 are at any given time. I actually remembered to write the review when I spotted 3 of them at the same time. My ONLY small complaint is the rubber plus dog slobber and rolling under furniture means these balls can pick up a lot of dust and hair. I have to rinse them occasionally as they can get rather gross. Luckily, they are very easy to clean with water and dry with a paper towel. Then they are as good as new! We can get right back to playing. I highly recommend these balls as you will spend hours enjoying watching your dogs play fetch. We absolutely play ball in the house, as watching the mayhem of two dogs chase the ball down hallways and across rooms in incredibly entertaining!

Only One of Two Toys That Any of My Three Dogs Will Play With

I can’t overemphasize this enough: My pooches just aren’t keen on toys. I don’t know why. I’ve tried everything to get them to play with SOMETHING, instead of just lying around, or begging ME to do all the work to entertain them all the time. But whenever I buy or make one for them, all three just look at me like, “Meh. Bored. Try again, Ma.” Until I bought these. I’ll spare the reader a lot of details, but for whatever reason, these little, round, mouth-sized squeakers were a hit. There’s literally nothing special about their construction or functionality at all, but my dogs think they’re great. Kinda like how kids don’t care about the fancy, expensive toy you bought them, but prefer to play with the box it came in. 🤷‍♀️ I was concerned about them getting chewed up the first day (or worse, getting swallowed), or me just being driven insane with the squeaking, but only the latter has been an issue, and only the first few days. My dogs are very diverse mixed breeds and sizes, and all three think these are the best thing ever. My medium-sized bulldog is so adorable: He very gently picks one up, squeaks it a little bit, and then runs around holding it in his mouth until he decides to drop it (usually 30 seconds or less). Then my big dog swooshes in and steals it from him (It’s a “game” that only one of them enjoys). The biggest annoyance with these is having to go pick them up wherever my poorly-trained doggos drop them (but that’s my fault, of course). In a nutshell: They’re a hit at my house. Just be vigilant the first few days to make sure your dog isn’t interested in trying to eat them.
