The company does include an extra replacement piece, which is actually a great idea and appreciated. However, he ended up chewing that one up too after a few more play sessions. This toy worked well for short-term play and entertainment, but it’s not durable enough for large dogs with strong chewing habits. I think this would be much better suited for small to medium dogs. It does go to sleep if no one is playing with it. They furnish you with an extra top and a fresh "rope." I really appreciate how much customer service is done with this item. I will watch for more of their items to purchase.
