De merlot druiven van deze Chileense wijn zijn afkomstig uit Maipo Valley en liggen echt op de mooiste plekken van dit gebied. Door de vele zon uren wordt deze Merlot zacht en rijp maar door de koelte van de nacht en wind krijgt hij ook een stevige aanzet. Na de oogst rijpt deze Gran Reserva Merlot ook nog eens 8 a 10 maanden op eiken hout in de kelders van Santa Ema. Alle zintuigen staan op scherp wanneer deze fles ontkurkt wordt. Je ruikt en proef zoveel: je staat gewoon helemaal perplex van deze Santa Ema Gran Reserva Merlot. Subtiel fruit van bessen en licht rood fruit maar ook gebrande koffie, vanille en chocolade. Wauw! De tannines zijn super zacht: alsof je in een donzen dekbed valt. Subliem! Santa Ema Gran Reserva Merlot is een van de pronkstukken van dit Chileense wijn huis, welke je moet ervaren!
