Deze versie van de Cobalt heeft een velg die verbreed is tot 23 mm (intern) voor nog meer stabiliteit, grip en tractie! Deze velg is gemaakt van aluminium en heeft 24 spaken die er alles aan doen om de laterale stijfheid en sterkte van het wiel te garanderen: naast een rechte trekkracht op de naaf hebben deze spaken een driehoekige vetersluiting met Twin pair technologie, die de spaken paarsgewijs combineert. Het ontwerp van de Cobalt 3 is ook bestudeerd om de massa zo dicht mogelijk bij de naaf te verdelen, voor een dynamische acceleratie!
