Hoe bijzonder deze wijn is, is vooral te herleiden naar de wijngaard. De Muscat druiven op deze wijngaard werden al in 1926 aangeplant en zorgen vandaag de dag nog steeds voor top kwaliteit druiven. De opbrengst is laag, maar de kwaliteit torenhoog! Daarnaast is deze wijngaard van Weltevrede de enige wijngaard in Zuid-Afrika die is verklaard tot beschermd landschap door de Commissie van Nationale monumenten. Oupa se Wyn Weltevrede is een versterkte wijn. Na de oogst gisten de druiven kort op de schillen. Na 24 uur worden deze geperst en wordt er alcohol toegevoegd om de gisting te stoppen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat Oupa se Wyn Weltevrede lekker zoet en krachtig blijft.Nuances in Oupa se Wyn Weltevrede
Rijp en rijk. Dat zijn de sleutelwoorden voor Oupa se Wyn. Een versterkte wijn, die weergaloos van geur en smaak is. De neus wordt gekieteld door krachtige tonen van rood fruit zoals kersen en bessen maar ook krenten. De smaak is precies zoals de geur doet vermoeden. Weelderig, stevig, krachtig en gul. Oupa se Wyn is een mond vol indrukwekkende tonen van warme kersen en muscaat-tonen. Iets van rozijnen en krentjes is duidelijk te herkennen op de tong. A large fits very well and I wear a 16.5" neck and a 34" sleeve. No shrinkage after many washings.

This is my favorite shirt. It is very comfortable and great looking. I purchased the brown Gingham. I like wearing a black T-shirt under it. I wear a large and purchased a large. It is not too tight. With a dress shirt, I wear a 16.5 neck 34" sleeves. It will fit you if you wear a 35" sleeve, I believe. It is machine washable. I have washed it many time with no noticeable shrinkage. It has a shirt or pen pocket.
