BESCHERMING
IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTIE

In-Mold Construction is een techniek waarbij de schokabsorberende EPS-voering direct met de polycarbonaat helmschalen wordt verbonden om een lichtgewicht en sterke constructie te creëren. In de eerste stap wordt de vlakke PC-plaat verhit en over de helmmal getrokken. Vervolgens worden de omtrek van de helmschaal en de gaten uitgefreesd. Deze PC-schaal wordt vervolgens in de helmmal geplaatst en de ankers voor de bandjes en bevestigingssystemen worden geplaatst. Vervolgens wordt de mal gesloten en wordt het EPS geïnjecteerd. Nu hecht de polycarbonaat schaal zich aan het EPS en ontstaat er een superlichte, maar toch extreem stabiele helm.

Met het Dial-Fit systeem stel je in enkele seconden een perfecte pasvorm in. Een verstelwieltje aan de achterkant van de helm zorgt voor een perfecte pasvorm en verhoogt de stabiliteit bij helmen die niet over onze Snug Fit beschikken. Sommige van onze enduro-/trailhelmen voor mountainbikes zijn ook voorzien van een in hoogte verstelbaar Dial Fit systeem.

AFGESTEMD PASSYSTEEM

Met ons Tuned Fit-systeem kan een rijder de pasvorm perfect afstemmen met behulp van pads van verschillende diktes aan de binnenkant van de helm. Onze helmen worden standaard geleverd met pads in twee maten. Elke maat heeft een andere kleur, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om de juiste pads te bepalen die de helm op het hoofd passen. Het is erg belangrijk om de helm af te stellen met deze meegeleverde pads. Zo kunnen, indien nodig, de iets dikkere pads aan de achterkant van het hoofd worden gemonteerd en de pad aan de voorkant van het hoofd dunner, of andersom.

LAGE PASVORM

Een helm beschermt alleen wat hij bedekt. Ons Low Fit-ontwerp zit laag en beschermt de hele achterkant en zijkanten van je hoofd volledig zonder je gezichtsveld te belemmeren of je bewegingsvrijheid te beperken.

I hate that I love this product. It's stupid expensive. But it's great for broken/damaged/recovering skin. I've used it post microneedling and it is the only thing that soothes, hydrates, and doesn't sting raw, red skin. Great for rashes/hives and allergic reactions too. Luckily a thin layer is often enough to do the trick. so it lasts a long time I wouldn't use for everyday moisture, but when your skin is angry, this stuff works. (Overpriced? Yes. Witchcraft? Maybe. Does it work? Yep.)

Obsessed. Soothing, effective, fragrance-free, incredibly healing
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I’ve been loving this so much I bought a second bottle after a few days of using it. It has all the skin soothing benefits of the tolerance lotion cleanser, but it’s also a really great cleanser. It’s almost not noticeable how good it is at cleansing because your skin doesn’t feel stripped after, but it takes things off really quickly. I was worried because it doesn’t foam a lot and it feels so nurturing — much like the tolerance lotion cleanser (which I use as a second cleanse when my skin needs a few days to recover from something like a derm office treatment) — but when I wash again with my favorite HG cleanser nothing extra comes off, and I tested it twice on waterproof eyeliner that I’d swiped on my forearm for an hour or so, the eyeliner dissolved and wiped off with two or three gentle swipes. It has a very emollient texture, so when you rub it against your skin it slips so easily you don’t realize it’s dissolving and taking things away because there is no friction. So it’s great at taking off makeup, it’s AMAZING at cleaning makeup brushes, and IT DOES NOT BURN MY EYES AT ALL. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREE… before I bought it I read a review complaining about smelling a citrus fragrance, that person either has some sort of brain tumor or something spilled on their bottle when it was in a warehouse because this is definitely a fragrance-free product. Prior to trying this, I had tried another cleanser that gave me weird acne hives all over my chest (never happened to me before) and I was struggling to heal the acne and the irritation. I noticed an immediate difference when I started using the tolerance cleanser on it; the fresh redness went away, the acne started healing, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been healing fast. So I’ve been using this on my body as well and it’s soothing and moisturizing in all the places where other things have been drying. I have mild rosacea and I hadn’t realized how irritated my skin was from the last thing I’d tried until after 5 days or so of using this my skin tone looked much more even and the stubborn PIH I have from a two-zit hormonal breakout a month ago finally looked dramatically lighter (as recently as the week before, I’d needed to cover them with high-coverage concealer). Because this doesn’t foam much, some people might not realize how well it’s cleaning… I encourage you to judge it based on how your skin looks and feels. Since it is very emollient though, I do think it’s important to use it with a face wash scrubber or washcloth just to ensure you’re getting some mild mechanical exfoliation and clearing away skin cells that could be trapping stuff in your pores. For this reason, I do wash my face with this twice so the first wash can get off makeup/debris/oil and then the second wash can really penetrate and clean my skin.

No Scent and Gentle

I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didn’t burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. I’ve used other Avene products and I’m very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products I’ve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that it’s so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Avene’s Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you don’t need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Avene’s Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohn’s Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohn’s).
