Zijn zorgvuldig geboekstaafde tocht naar lager wal voert de lezer mee langs een zolderkamer in Arnhem, een opleiding telefonie in De Klomp, drie jammerlijke sollicitaties bij de parlementsfractie van de Partij voor de Dieren en een dramatisch verlopend leraarschap Duits in Purmerend. Zijn leven neemt een verbluffende wending wanneer hij aangenomen wordt als parkeercontroleur in Hilversum. Daar ontdekt hij dat hij eindelijk ergens in uitblinkt: het bekeuren van auto’s. Parkeren in Hilversum is een tragikomische schets van het Gooi en van woedende, scheldende en liegende autobezitters. Maar bovenal is het een ode aan de vriendschap en de afhankelijkheid. Als repatriant blijft Detlev van Heest uiteindelijk op de been dankzij het echtpaar Voskuil, dat zich over hem ontfermt als ware hij het verloren schaap. Het boek eindigt met de laatste maanden van het leven van J.J. Voskuil, ontroerend beschreven, niet door Van Heest zelf, maar door Kootje, zijn uit Nieuw-Zeeland nagezonden Japanse poes.Shipping Notes

Good Fit for a Bigger Guy

I'm a bigger guy--6-foot, 240lbs--so I struggle sometimes with finding the right fit. This shirt fit my broad shoulders and ample mid-section with ease, and I was even able to tuck it in. I have long arms (76-inch reach), and this shirt fit the bill.
I liked this shirt so much that I ordered seven colors--enough for each day of the week. After a year, the fabric is still strong and the colors vibrant.

Some wrinkles
Size: 17.5" Neck 36"-37" Sleeve, Color: Vert
I would say that it’s more wrinkle resistant than wrinkle free, you’ll probably still have to iron this one. The collar stays are sewn inside the shirt collar so they cannot be changed or replaced (not compatible with magnetic collar stays). Otherwise it fits well and was reasonably priced but not quite what I wanted.

Cell Shade/Sketch Watch conversation timepiece

This is an amazing deal! There’s no question this is an “homage” to the D1 Milano at 1/10th the price! It is lightweight, fits really comfortably, and functions very accurately! Yes, it feels like a light plastic, that’s literally the point. Know this before purchasing. Very stylish timepiece and I plan on buying the black version as well. I hope that they make a lume version in the future! I could just imagine how cool it would be glowing in the dark too! Highly recommend this cool, unique watch and it’s guaranteed to get peoples’ attention!
