Al 24 jaar achter elkaar krijgt deze wijn Tre Bicchiere in de Gambero Rosso.
Vintage 2015 is robijnpaars van kleur. Fijnkorrelige tannines vormen de smaken van geplette zwarte kersen en cassisfruit terwijl ze rimpelen in de mond van dit harmonieuze, medium- tot volle rood. Fris en gefocust, met accenten van bergamot, donkere pruimen, grafiet. Hartige kruiden en een zoute bite komen naar voren op de lange, strakke afdronk. Heerlijk nu, maar met een enorm potentieel om te verouderen.
Tussen eind september en begin oktober oogst Montevetrano eerst de Merlot-druif, gevolgd door de Cabernet Sauvignon en tenslotte de Aglianico. Gisting vindt aanvankelijk plaats in stalen vaten gedurende ongeveer 15 dagen, waarna de wijn gedurende 12-14 maanden wordt overgebracht naar nieuwe Franse eikenvaten. Het proces is traditioneel maar ook strikt gecontroleerd, wat een goede verfijning en een evenwichtige rijping garandeert. Het proces zorgt er ook voor dat de druiven de typische regionale kenmerken van Montevetrano behouden. Cotarella, de wijnmaker, is bijzonder trots op deze wijn, de allereerste icoonwijn die hij heeft gemaakt; hij beschouwt het als de vader van zijn rode wijnen.

Oh my goodness. My cane corso (15 mos) LOVES this ball. It’s easy for them to pick up because of all the little handles sewn into the ball. It’s easy to throw as well. The only thing is he likes to chew them off if he gets free time with the ball. The ball itself is very sturdy. highly recommend, and I’ll be ordering more. We play with this every morning and he’s so excited to take it outside.

zelda‘s “indoor” ⚽️ ball!

zelda loves her soccer ball - because of the fabric “tabs”, and the way she treats her toys, we keep it inside. she loves to place all of her toys and bones on our bed, after they’ve been cleaned. this ball is perfect and soft enough to throw it down our steps, where she will run down, retrieve it, and bring it back to the bed.
it arrives deflated and comes with the pump and two needles - the pump is not the sturdiest and felt like it was not inflating, but after only having to reflate it once with a bit of air since receiving it ~5-6 months ago, it still holds up!
