Het debuutalbum MOOON’s Brew kwam op 6 oktober 2017 uit via Excelsior Recordings, maar nu is het - vijf jaar later - tijd voor een herpersing. Beïnvloed door artiesten zoals Blood, Sweat and Tears, Led Zeppelin, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Santana en Rory Gallagher. Het is overigens niet alleen blues wat de klok slaat bij MOOON, want ook surf, psychedelica en garagerock komen voortdurend langs. En alles wordt samengesmolten door een sfeer uit de jaren zestig en zeventig waar de bandleden Tom de Jong, Gijs de Jong en Timo van Lierop in ieder geval zeker zelf niet bij waren - maar dat zou je niet horen als je het niet weet.
