Guji é uma região montanhosa e acidentada no sul da Etiópia, conhecida pelas suas densas florestas e rica tradição cafeeira. Nesta região, o café ainda cresce em parte selvagem, com uma história que remonta a séculos. O café Megadu é distinto e rico, com notas de fruta madura, cacau e toffee. As bagas são colhidas seletivamente no seu auge e processadas com grande cuidado.

A parcela Megadu faz parte de uma fazenda maior gerida em estreita colaboração com os líderes locais Gash Duba e Ato Saffay. Estes líderes comunitários informais possuem a maior parte da terra e contribuem com décadas de conhecimento. Graças a estas parcerias, foi possível produzir cafés naturais anaeróbicos de alta qualidade que, ao mesmo tempo, fortalecem a comunidade. O processamento é feito em parte na própria torrefação, onde também se experimentam novas técnicas de fermentação.
