Daarom hanteerd Therm a Rest geen normale garantie periode maar geven ze garantie gedurende de levensduur van de mat.(Lifetime warranty)   Elke slaapmat wordt individueel getest op lekkage voordat hij de fabriek verlaat. Een mat die tijdens het gebruik beschadigd en daardoor lek raakt, is gemakkelijk te repareren. Dat valt niet onder de garantie. Het poreus worden van de buitenstof, waardoor de mat niet hard blijft valt wel onder garantie. Dat is een kwaal waar veel immitatie merken last van hebben. Ook het loslaten van lasnaden en het verschijnen van bobbels op de mat valt meestal onder de garantie. Behalve wanneer een mat heel hard opgeblazen in de zon gelegd wordt. Door de hitte zet de lucht uit en dan kan de mat ontploffen. Bij een dergelijke klacht wordt de mat onderzocht door de fabrikant om de oorzaak van de klacht vast te stellen. Bij een productie- of materiaal fout is er sprake van garantie.  Tip: Staat je tent overdag in de felle zon? Zet dan het ventiel van je mat open!

Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything. Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank. Again, it seems to be running well for now.
