Thelonious Himself, uitgebracht in 1957, is een soloalbum van Thelonious Monk. De enige uitzondering hierop is het laatste nummer "Monk's Mood", waar hij wordt bijgestaan door John Coltrane en Wilbur Ware. Het was Monk's vierde album op Riverside en kreeg van het tijdschrift DownBeat de felbegeerde 5 sterren. Deze nieuwe editie van het album is uitgebracht als onderdeel van de Original Jazz Classics Series. Het album is op 180 gram vinyl geperst bij RTI met volledig analoge mastering van de originele banden bij Coherent Audio en een Stoughton Tip-On-jack.
