Daarin slagen ze alleen als het team als één goed geoliede machine samenwerkt. In de diepzee zijn de communicatiemogelijkheden echter beperkt. Praten zal niet gaan, maar door slim gebruik te maken van de middelen die ter beschikking staan, moet het lukken om het juiste crewlid de slag met net die juiste kaart erin te laten winnen. De Crew: Missie Diepzee is een soort coöperatief klaverjassen met beperkte communicatie. En wie had ooit kunnen bedenken dat dat zo innovatief, spannend maar vooral verslavend zou zijn? De Crew: Missie Diepzee bevat in tegenstelling tot zijn voorganger maar liefst 96 opdrachtkaarten met zeer uiteenlopende opdrachten.
