Club RoXY in Amsterdam is Nederlands meest legendarische dansvloer.

Club RoXY is the Netherlands’ most legendary night club. Founded as a cultural salon in 1987 in Amsterdam, the club became the place where revolutionary house music first gained a foothold in 1988 through the pioneering work of DJ and party organiser Eddy De Clercq. In doing so, RoXY laid the foundation for the international success of Dutch dance. But RoXY was more than that. In the wake of co-founder artist Peter Giele, it became a playground for artists and performers. But above all, the club was a safe haven for visitors from the LGBTQ+ scene. All contributed to the endless, wild party nights, full of creativity and self-expression. Cleo Campert captured it all, until the last day in 1999, when disaster struck and the club burned down completely. The archive remained closed for a long time, hundreds of photos can be seen for the first time in this book. Het RoXY Archief is an ode to the euphoria of the early house years, to the wild and ragged Amsterdam of the late eighties.

Cleo Campert was able to manifest herself as a photographer in the Amsterdam Club RoXY, in July 1989 she was hired to capture everything in the club. It was right in the times that house music was seriously gaining ground in Amsterdam, first at parties in warehouses and other underground places, with Club RoXY there was a real house club. Campert worked there several times a week for years, the RoXY became her second home. She built up a large archive, from which she published this photo book in 2021.

Amazing value
Super nice quality jacket for the price... I was shocked how nice it was actually. For me it wasn't the right fit though... Amazon recommended a size M (5'9" 145lbs) and it was way too big. Was not the slimmest of slims either, so it just felt too big and I ended up returning it. But, the item itself was really nice so I still think it's a 5-star jacket. The color, fabric, and sewing were top notch. Oh, I also wasn't a fan of the faux white pocket square... to me this is a blazer that could look nice with jeans but the white pocket square makes it look a little too formal. I'd have kept it if it fit properly and remove that little piece of fabric.

Nice Suit For The Price
This suit was a time-saver! My wife ordered a tux that wasn't going to make it for a formal occasion, so this was ordered and came within three days. It was a good thing she purchased 2, in case of sizing errors. The extra large pants worked, but sizing down to the large jacket & vest made the best combination/fit. We didn't go with the blue/black bow tie & flower it came with, but may for another event. However, being able to work interchangeably at a low price was rewarding!! Thought to add comments that the look of this suit is pleasing (though it's not the best thread). The workmanship gives it a 5 and even greater. The compliments were many. I do suggest using a good steam iron that will eliminate the wrinkles, without creating unwanted creases, while barely touching the suit; but, definitely follow the creases in the pants leg.
