Al palato è secco, caldo, morbido, fresco, caratterizzato da una trama tannica precisa ed elegante. Chiude con un finale di grande statura e lunghezza.Il fumin è un antico vitigno autoctono della Valle d'Aosta, caratterizzato da una forte colorazione della buccia che in maturazione tende al blu. Una varietà tardiva, tradizionalmente vinificata in acciaio e successivamente lasciata maturare in botti di legno di differenti dimensioni. Il Vallée dAoste Fumin DOC Esprit Follet de La Crotta di Vegneron è un vino dal carattere eccezionale: fine, elegante e complesso, perfetta espressione di un terroir unico.
