De Valpolicella Ripasso wordt ook wel de baby Amarone genoemd. Dit komt omdat het druivengebruik overeenkomt. Daarnaast wordt er in de tweede gisting most van de Amarone toegevoegd. De Corvina, Molinara en Rondinella druiven worden handmatig geoogst en in kleine kratjes naar het wijnhuis gebracht. Hier worden zij zachtjes geperst en op hout opgevoed. Vervolgens wordt de most van Amarone toegevoegd, zodat Villa Loren Valpolicella Ripasso een twee gisting krijgt. De houtlagering en de toevoeging van de most van Amarone heeft duidelijk zijn uitwerking op Villa Loren Valpolicella Ripasso. De geuren zijn weelderig, zwoel en diep. Je ruikt warm, donker fruit, stevige chocolade, zacht pruimen en gestoofde krentjes. De smaak is overweldigend. Villa Loren Valpolicella Ripasso is een vloeibaar paradijs. It will make you smile

Just an all around pleasant read. I enjoyed the interplay between the two main characters and watching their relationship evolve. There was never a doubt about where the story was headed, and that's ok. Happy endings are a good thing!

Fun, joy filled, quick read

This story brings together people who need to evaluate where they want to go in life and they are surprised to find that they don’t need to go far to find fulfillment, a great place to live, and a great person as a partner. This is a sweet, quick read to bring hope and joy in the holiday season as the two protagonists end up helping a whole town while finding themselves.

A nice story

I liked enough to read the book all the way through. It was a really slow burn without even a kiss till the last few pages. It seemed to be a sort of contrived Christmas magic story and not a real romance. I wouldn't read it again.

I’d give this book 5 stars but it has no epilogue. Which sucked did they get married have kids anything but it’s always disappointing when there is no epilogue 😢

It takes a community

A beautiful depiction of Celeste and Natalie’s journey to discovering their true purpose. Natalie began as a thorn in Celeste’s side and ended up being her true soul mate. I loved Celeste’s family tradition of feeding those less fortunate. One recipient’s, Sean, life was transformed into a productive and joyful one. It was beautiful. You could see Celeste’s heart, even though she tried to keep it secluded behind walls. Natalie brought the joy of the holiday spirit to Celeste and once she acquiesced to supporting Natalie’s vision, it was transformative in the entire community. A very good, sweet read. I unequivocally, heartily, and enthusiastically recommend this and any other works by TB Markinson and Miranda MacLeod. I own most of them and have never been disappointed. Thank you Peace
