I love my 2001 E46 (325i), but one challenge is that the plastics no longer remain "dry" in the summer heat, instead becoming a sticky mess. Picked this up to replace my existing cup-holder. I was optimistic that the black carbon fiber mesh would blend in with my otherwise black interior, but it's not the same shade of black, so the new part looks a bit out of place. No worries, I just need more carbon fiber replacement components! This fits perfectly, snaps into place, and is definitely an improvement over ~25-year old plastic. Great value too, an inexpensive upgrade that has real functional improvements -- items in the cupholder no longer get discolored with "sticky" plastic in the sun.
