Zoon Philippe nam in 1981 de leiding over de wijngaarden & breidde de wijnbouw uit naar 24 hectare, verdeeld over 2 appellations, Cheverney

Vader Roger Tessier begon in 1961 met het aanplanten van wijnstokken naast zijn asperge velden. Zoon Philippe nam in 1981 de leiding over de wijngaarden & breidde de wijnbouw uit naar 24 hectare, verdeeld over 2 appellations, Cheverney en Cour-Cheverny. Vanaf 1998 worden de wijngaarden biologisch bewerkt, het Ecocert certificaat volgende in 2002. Philippe verbouwt Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Côt, Pinot Noir, Gamay en natuurlijk de locale Romorantin.

  • In de wijngaard: Wijngaarden met een bodem die voornamelijk bestaat uit klei. Jonge stokken (<20 jaar oud). Er worden geen chemische bestrijdingsmiddelen gebruikt. Handmatige pluk.
  • In de kelder: Fermentatie met wijngaard-eigen gisten. Opvoeding op roestvrij staal en beton. Er wordt niet geklaard, niet gefilterd. Bij het op de fles gaan wordt soms een kleine hoeveelheid sulfiet toegevoegd.

Does a good job, and works pretty well. Took weeks to have it delivered.
Works pretty well, seems to be slightly underpowered. I think it would work better if the soil here were drier. The shroud around the blade would probably not jam up with dirt if the soil here is drier. I was constantly having to remove the battery and using a screwdriver to remove the dirt from the shroud. The shroud would work better if it was larger. There is an adjuster that lowers a metal guide that fits up against the concrete that helps you to keep the blade right up to the edge, make sure to lower that guide into place. The 20 Volt Max batteries I used are hard to insert and remove, but mine are aftermarket batteries, and another tool I own is also hard to insert and remove the same batteries.
