Van maart tot mei bloeit ‘Green Carpet’ met kleine, witte bloeiaren die subtiel boven het blad uitsteken. Door zijn gesloten groei helpt deze plant effectief bij het onderdrukken van onkruid en het beschermen van de bodem.

Standplaats en verzorging
Pachysandra terminalis ‘Green Carpet’ groeit het beste in halfschaduw tot schaduw en in humusrijke, goed doorlatende grond. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Licht terugsnoeien in het vroege voorjaar (voor februari of net erna) houdt de groei compact en fris.
