Uiterlijk van de plant: De Codiaeum 'Croton' Petra is een opvallende kamerplant met grote, leerachtige bladeren die variëren in kleur van geel en oranje tot rood en groen. De bladeren hebben een langwerpige, puntige vorm en kunnen soms een lichte glans hebben. Deze plant heeft een potmaat van Ø21cm en een hoogte van 70-80 cm.

Standplaats: De Croton staat het liefst op een plek met veel indirect licht. Te veel direct zonlicht kan de bladeren beschadigen, maar een lichte plek zonder volle zon is ideaal. Deze plant is uitsluitend geschikt voor binnenshuis.

Waterbehoefte: De Codiaeum heeft regelmatig water nodig. Houd de potgrond licht vochtig, maar zorg ervoor dat er geen water in de pot blijft staan. Geef hem ongeveer één keer per week water.
