These do stay on my son's feet better than most other brands of socks but if he's really kicking (like in his car seat), they do still come off. He's 7 months and they fit OK. It seems they are sized a little small for 6-12mo. Other brands I have (Old Navy, for one) are just a tad larger so they'll fit him longer (even though he can pull those brands off more easily-just cannot win!). Final verdict - I won't be ordering these online again since it is difficult for me to do returns even if I had noticed the defect before washing them. They are a very good design so I will look for some in stores to purchase.
