De rietjes zijn verpakt per 200 stuks en zijn 15 cm lang. De rietjes hebben een diameter van 8mm, zijn gemaakt van FSC® gecertificeerd papier en zijn 100% biologisch afbreekbaar.

Producten en materiaal die aan de FSC® richtlijnen voldoen worden gemaakt van hout afkomstig van verantwoord beheerd bosgebied. Op deze manier wordt ontbossing tegengegaan, wat belangrijk is om de CO2 uitstoot te verminderen en klimaatverandering te bestrijden. Bij het kappen van bomen houdt FSC® rekening met mens en dier. Het bos wordt opgedeeld in vakken en elk jaar wordt er in een ander vak bomen geoogst, zodat het bos zich kan herstellen.
