“Finca de Altura” 2023 is een uitgesproken Ribera del Duero van hooggelegen wijngaarden, met rijpheid en concentratie maar ook opvallende frisheid. In de neus tonen van rijpe zwarte kers, braam en pruim, aangevuld met cacao, kruidigheid en een minerale toets. In de mond is de wijn breed en vlezig, met een mooie zuurgraad die voor spanning zorgt en rijpe, zachte tannines die de wijn tegelijk kracht en elegantie geven. De afdronk is lang, kruidig en harmonieus.

Vinificatie.
De druiven worden met de hand geoogst en streng geselecteerd. Na een korte pre-fermentatieve maceratie volgt een temperatuurgecontroleerde vergisting, met extractie gericht op diepte zonder hardheid. De malolactische gisting verloopt na de alcoholische gisting, waarna de wijn ongeveer 8 maanden rijpt in eikenhouten vaten. Daarna volgt flesrijping vóór vrijgave, zodat hout en tannines mooi integreren en de wijn zijn balans behoudt.

Het domein.
Dominio Basconcillos is een familieproject in Ribera del Duero dat zijn identiteit bouwt rond wijngaarden op grote hoogte, waar koele nachten zorgen voor extra frisheid en precisie. Het domein werkt milieubewust met veel handwerk, focus op bodemgezondheid en aandacht voor biodiversiteit, zodat de wijnen de puurheid van hun terroir zo helder mogelijk weerspiegelen.

Great makeup wipes, noticed a tiny bit of irritation.

These makeup wipes are great! They easily get off my makeup whether it be gel based liners, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner or waterproof makeup. I find one wipe is more than absorbent enough to take off all my makeup and I often use the rest to clean off my brushes; although I don’t usually wear a full face, just a mixture blush, lips, brows, highlighter, and always eyes. I find that the cloth is nonabrasive. The only issues I have with it is that the packaging is impossible to stay closed so I bet that may dry out the wipes over time. I also find that especially around my eyes I see redness and dryness after wiping and it needs a couple of wipes to get everything out of my lashes. The redness goes away after a couple minutes, but as someone with sensitive skin I get worried especially as I have had other sensitive makeup wipes not have this issue. Luckily I haven’t broke out, haven’t had lasting dryness, or issues from this product. Works well!
