Het familiebedrijf Andresen maakt als grootse Portwijnen vanaf 1845. Het bedrijf wordt al die tijd al beheert door een familie. Dat is uniek in Portugal. Ze maken uitstekende Port in alle soorten en maten. Ze zijn voornamelijk gespecialiseerd in Tawny Port, waarbij de houtlagering het belangrijkste is tijdens het vinificatieproces. Ook de wijnkelder is bijzonder te noemen. Hier bewaart de familie een grote voorraad van zeer oude Ports. Ze staan wereldwijd bekend om hun goede kwaliteit die ze aanbieden tegen een aantrekkelijke prijs. Andresen bezit 40 hectare wijngaarden in de Douro regio. Hier staan de diverse druivenrassen aangeplant voor de 20 Years Old Tawny Port. De druiven worden zorgvuldig en ook selectief geoogst. Dit maakt het verschil in de uiteindelijke port. In de wijnmakerij worden de druiven zachtjes gekneusd met de voet. De druiven worden bewust niet ontsteeld en krijgen een inweking in roestvrijstalen tanks voor 24 uur. Als dit is afgerond volgt de fermentatie die twee dagen duurt en halverwege wordt onderbroken, waarbij er wijnalcohol wordt toegevoegd. Tot dat de wijn wordt gebotteld rijpt deze in oude houten vaten van 600 liter. Het geeft geen houtsmaak af, maar laat het rijpingsproces natuurlijk verlopen. De uiteindelijke blend bestaande uit verschillende wijnen heeft een gemiddelde leeftijd van 20 jaar.De mooiste Portwijnen van Andresen
Het eerste wat opvalt is de amberbruine kleur in het glas. Deze 20 jaar oude port laat hiermee duidelijk een uniek karakter zien. De aroma’s zijn karamel, walnoot en honing en de nodige frisheid is te danken aan de sinaasappelschil geur. De smaak is mooi gebalanceerd met zowel fruit als houttonen. Surprisingly strong cooling effect and really comfortable

This comforter honestly impressed me more than I expected. The cooling effect is very noticeable right away. Like actually noticeable, not just one of those things brands say. When you first touch it, it feels cool to the skin and that feeling sticks around instead of fading instantly.
I’ve been using it at night and it definitely helps with overheating. I tend to get cery hot when I sleep, also I’m pregnant right now so that makes it even worse, and this has made a difference. It feels lightweight but still cozy enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re just using a thin sheet.
The fabric is really soft and smooth, also it lays nicely on the bed without feeling stiff or bulky. It gives that clean, almost silky feel without being slippery.
One thing to keep in mind is it’s not a super thick comforter, but i will say there is some heft to it. Like if i wrap myself around in it, it has some weight to it.
Overall, I’m really happy with it. It actually does what it claims with the cooling, and it’s comfortable enough for everyday use. Great option if you’re a hot sleeper or just want something lighter and refreshing at night.

I absolutely love this comforter! It is super lightweight and has a very silky soft shell on both sides. It feels so good to sleep under! Ever since I have been using it, I haven't been waking up in sweat covered sheets. It constantly has a cool feel to it 24/7. It is large enough that it fits my king size bed pretty good. It doesn't hang far over the edges, but it fits. It is dual sided, so you can have a light gray look on one side and a dark gray look on the other side, depending on what fits your decor better. I definitely recommend getting if you are on the lookout for a cooling comforter, especially because of the silky soft feel.

It really cools - Extremely soft - Not too heavy

This comforter arrived packaged very well from the manufacturer. It arrived sealed in plastic inside a box. The color and appearance of the comforter received looks like what was shown in the listing. This comforter is extremely soft. It feels very cool to the touch. It has a great cooling effect. It is also not too heavy. A lot of cooling bedding products like this feel heavy. While this does have some weight it is not too much. It is easy to move around. The comforter is easy to refresh and cool off again after extended use. I just uncovered myself, lifted and moved the comforter around a little, then covered back up. This made it feel cooler again. I am very happy with this comforter so far. I like the color and design. I really like feeling cool when falling asleep. This will be great when the temperatures start going up. I will update this review later if anything changes after washing a few more times and longer use. I think this will be a good comforter for most hot sleepers who like to cover up all year.

Feels seriously amazing!

This is my second cooling comforter from this brand and this one is just as amazing as the first. It’s silky soft and makes a significant temperature difference. It’s like magic; you don’t need to do anything special to cool it before bed. If you do want extra coolness, you can place it in front of your AC or turn on your fan for a little bit before bed and It absorbs the extra coolness but either way it lasts all night. I use it with the cooling pillow, and the hot summer nights are no match. It’s easy to wash, really silky, smooth, and actually cool against the skin. It also somehow has a weighted blanket-like feel without being heavy. I standby this blanket so much that this is my second one, highly recommend!

Silky soft pillow cases save hair from tangles
Pillows feel great and keep your head cool plus your hair doesnt get all tangled at night. I have juwt put them out on my bed and havent had a chance to wash them but they seem like theyre made from quality material that should hold up in the wash.
