Surin Phaksiri is een gewaardeerde producer met diepe wortels in Thaise traditionele muziekstijlen zoals Molam en Luk Thung. Tegelijkertijd schuwde hij vernieuwing en invloeden van buitenaf niet. O.a. vleugjes Latin, jazz, Westerse pop/rock en Bollywood worden toegevoegd aan de rijke muzikale cultuur van de Isan (noordoost Thailand). Deze compilaties bevatten nummers uit de hoogtijdagen van zijn carrière (grofweg genomen de tweede helft van de jaren zeventig en het begin van de jaren tachtig.) Hierop horen we verschillende meesterlijke Thaise vocalisten die hun kunsten vertonen op de groovy producties van Phaksiri.
