Het is een high waist fit in een kruising tussen een tapered en een barrel model, twee stijlen die nu weer overal in de winkels liggen. Deze is echter al decennia oud en hier voel je de kwaliteit vanaf. Ik vond 'm ook nog zonder gebreken en of gebruikssporen aan de buitenzijde, dus deze is erg goed verzorgd. De broek is volledig gevoerd met acetaat wat het draagcomfort erg

Een uniek item, deze prachtige vintage Laurél broek van echt leer met studs. Het is een high waist fit in een kruising tussen een tapered en een barrel model, twee stijlen die nu weer overal in de winkels liggen. Deze is echter al decennia oud en hier voel je de kwaliteit vanaf. Ik vond 'm ook nog zonder gebreken en/of gebruikssporen aan de buitenzijde, dus deze is erg goed verzorgd. De broek is volledig gevoerd met acetaat wat het draagcomfort erg fijn maakt. De broekspijpen zijn origineel korter gemaakt en waren al omgeslagen toen ik de broek kocht, je kunt deze met goed handwerk eventueel nog zo'n 3-5 cm verlengen. Cropped is deze echter heel tof met sneakers of hakken er onder. De broek heeft maat 40 maar zoals we weten is maat 40 van vroeger ongeveer maat 36 van nu, deze is non-stretch en daarom zou ik deze adviseren met maat 34/36. Bekijk voor de zekerheid de afmetingen hier onder.

 

Conditie: Nauwelijks gedragen. De broek is egaal van kleur, dit kan op de foto's anders doen lijken i.v.m. de zachte vezel van suede. De broek heeft enkel korter gemaakte omgeslagen broekspijpen die vast zijn getaped (wat verrassend goed blijft zitten, want dit was al zo toen ik deze inkocht) maar niet vast zijn genaaid. Dit kun je zelf eventueel aanpassen. 

 

Wegens de originaliteit en kostbaarheid van dit item zou het fijn zijn om retourneringen te voorkomen. Om te bepalen of deze bij jou gaat passen kun je de afmetingen hieronder vergelijken met een soortgelijk passend kledingstuk in je kast. 


Taille breedte plat gemeten: 33 cm. Bij mijzelf (maat 36) kan de broek dicht maar zit de sluiting wat strakker omdat ik op de buik wat breder ben maar bij de billen zit deze bij mij wat losser omdat ik hier wat minder gevormd ben.

Binnenbeen lengte plat gemeten: 67,5 cm

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.
