Opgebouwd uit een gebreide mix van 70% katoen en 30% polyamide combineert deze Off-White trui de zachtheid van katoen met de stevigheid en vormvastheid die polyamide aan het breisel toevoegt. Het opvallendste kenmerk is de Diag Outline: de kenmerkende diagonale strepen van het merk keren in intarsia terug op de mouwen, terwijl op de rug een groot grafisch motief is ingebreid. Op de borst zit een geborduurd logo dat het ontwerp subtiel verankert. De trui heeft geribde boorden aan hals, mouwen en zoom die de pasvorm op hun plek houden en het silhouet afkaderen. Door de dropped shoulders valt de schoudernaad net over de arm, wat een ontspannen, eigentijdse lijn geeft. De crewneck is gemaakt in Italië, waar het intarsiabreiwerk vakkundig in de stof wordt verwerkt in plaats van er achteraf op gedrukt. Anders dan een simpele logotrui zit het ontwerp hier ingebreid, waardoor het patroon onderdeel van de structuur is en niet loslaat of barst.

De trui draagt met een relaxed fit die door de dropped shoulders iets ruimer oogt over schouders en bovenarm. Het katoenrijke breisel heeft een lichte, natuurlijke rek die meebeweegt zonder dat de trui uitlubbert, mede dankzij de stevige geribde boorden. Voor een nette, op het lichaam aansluitende look kun je het beste je eigen maat aanhouden, terwijl je voor een bewust ruimere val een maat kunt opschalen. De lengte valt normaal en blijft netjes op heuphoogte, ook na herhaald dragen.

Gedragen op een rechte zwarte jeans met witte sneakers laat de zwart-witte Diag Outline meteen zien om welk merk het gaat, zonder dat er een opvallend groot logo aan te pas komt. Onder een wollen overjas in de winter werkt de trui net zo goed als losse laag in het tussenseizoen. Het ingebreide grafische werk is precies het detail dat deze crewneck nu onderscheidt van een doorsnee gebreide trui.

Off-White ontstond in 2012 onder Virgil Abloh en bracht een grafische, conceptuele aanpak naar het hart van de luxe mode. De diagonale strepen en aanhalingstekens van het label horen inmiddels tot de meest herkenbare codes in het segment.

I bought the Epson EcoTank ET-4800 hoping for an easy, low-cost printing solution, but it has been nothing but trouble. The wireless setup is overly complicated, and the printer often loses connection to the network, forcing me to restart it or reinstall the software. Printing is slow, even for simple documents, and the paper feeder sometimes pulls multiple sheets at once. While the EcoTank system is supposed to save money on ink, the print quality is inconsistent — colors can be dull, and black text occasionally appears streaky. Scanning and copying are also sluggish. For the price, I expected something much more reliable.

An excellent home printer. And why did I purchase such? I had an Epson WF-520 for nearly ten years. But neglect and lack of use caused the printer head to get gunked up. I cleaned the print heads using a solution of 95% Etoh and glass cleaner (about fifty/fifty), a syringe with a plastic tube attached and LOTS of paper towel strips. It was moderately successful but I was never able to get it back to like new printing. I looked over several new printers and wanted to stay with Epson because of ease of use (copy, scanning, printing). Seems as tank printers are the way to go these days. So I ordered the ET-4800. Got here in only a couple of days. Setup was pretty easy, just follow the instructions either via the documentation included or online version. I have pinted and scanned a color test page. I used the built in SmartScan feature without having to think about it much. I am quite satisfied with the results. By the way, there is no automatic two side printing. You actually have to get off your b---, take out the first printing, turn it over and refeed the stack. I was used to doing that with the old WF-520 and never had a problem. I will now set up a once a week, automatic scheduled printing task. I will just have to make sure there is paper on hand. Lack of use is the killer of these inkjet machines regardless of manufacturer.

Printer worked great until it didn’t. Cleared a paper jam that kept giving an issue. Then it gave a scanner error, after paper jam was resolved. I called support; they gathered all my info. Transferred me to someone else who then told me she’d email me some numbers to call for deals on refurbished printers or onsite support. I ended ups solving the problem… I threw the printer in the trash, and will likely not buy anymore epson products. I was willing to pay for service but not waste more time and making more phone calls. I had a credit card; i was willing to use it.
