Açai is een donkerpaarse bes met het uiterlijk van een druif, de bes bestaat maar liefst voor 80% uit pit. Acai poeder wordt gemaakt van de Acaibes. De Acaibes is een kleine donkerpaarse vrucht die groeit aan de Acaipalm (Euterpe Oleracea). Deze palm komt oorspronkelijk voor in het Amazone gebied van Midden- en Zuid-Amerika. De Acaibes wordt al eeuwenlang door de inheemse indianen stammen gebruikt. Het is bijna onmogelijk om Acai bessen vers te consumeren, dit komt door het tropische klimaat. Zodra de bessen van de boom gevallen zijn kunnen ze al na een uur bedorven zijn. Om die reden zijn ze in Nederland alleen maar verkrijgbaar in pulp, sap of poeder.

Mattisson Absolute Acai poeder Bio wordt verkregen door van biologische Acaibessen pulp te maken. Het pulp wordt vervolgens gevriesdroogd tot poeder.

Ball Launcher Poorly Made and Hard To Use, Save Your Money
This launcher was too long and thin to pick up the ball from the ground, I had to use my other hand to press down on it. The screw on handle was heavy and kept coming loose no matter how tight I made it, strain on the wrist to use. The ball holder end would often not let go of the ball when trying to launch it. I ended up putting it in the trash. I had two shorter Chuckit launchers that are much better made, will stick with them. I don't recommend this to anyone, save your money.

A few usability issues
My dog is obsessed with playing fetch. It’s part of our daily routine. Pros - I like that this comes with two launchers so we can keep one at home and one in the car. - Build feels solid Cons - The cup is slightly too small for regular sized tennis balls. I buy the large Costco box of Penn tennis balls every couple of years for my dog. If you fully seat the ball in the cup/launching end, it’s extremely difficult to throw and puts some strain on your wrist. — the workaround is to only partially insert the ball when picking it up. - Like others have stated, the launcher does come unscrewed occasionally after a few throws. It’s kind of annoying so I’ll likely try some thread lock, but ideally that wouldn’t be necessary.
