Het team werd gesponsord door Gitane, een fietsenfabrikant, en Frigécrème, een ijs- en zuivelfabrikant. Gitane was een prominente naam in het wielrennen en sponsorde tussen 1948 en 1979 verschillende wielerploegen, waaronder de wielerploeg Gitane-Frigécrème. Joop Zoetemelk werd met Gitane-Frigécrème in 1973 tweede in het eindklassement van de Ronde van Frankrijk, achter Eddy Merckx. Andere bekende renners in de Gitane-Frigécrème ploeg in 1973 waren Gerard Vianen, Gibert Bellone,Jean-Claude Largeau en Michel Wright.

Return Logistics: Amazon offered a return, but the box is heavy, and disassembly/repackaging would be a major task. Final Verdict I really like this product, but I’m deducting two stars for a total lack of customer service. I’ve decided to buy tools and fix it myself rather than deal with a heavy return. I hope the seller sees this and reaches out. The lesson learned is to check every part of a product before assembly.
