Het idyllische wijnhuis is gelegen in La Motte-en-Provence en is vanaf 2006 in eigendom van de familie Lichine, die hier wijnhuis Chateau d’Eclans oprichtte. Sacha Lichine, zoon van een wijnberoemdheid en eigenaar van wijnhuis Chateau d’Esclans had maar 1 missie. De allerbeste roséwijnen maken. En dat is gelukt. Het heeft hem zelfs de titel European Winery of the Year opgeleverd. En hij is daarbij het eerste rosé wijnhuis die deze titel kreeg. De wijngaarden in de prachtige heuvels van de Provence genieten van de beste omstandigheden. Het in totaal 44 hectare wijngaard heeft wijnstokken aangeplant op verschillende hoogtes. Daardoor zijn de smaken erg gevarieerd en kunnen de wijnmakers spelen met de verschillende eigenschappen. Het Château oogst in de ochtend om de versheid van het fruit te behouden. De bossen worden met de hand gesorteerd en daarna voor de tweede keer elektronisch. Vervolgens worden ze licht geperst op een lage temperatuur, opnieuw om de frisse aroma's te behouden. Het sap wordt gefermenteerd zonder maceratie. Daarna wordt het vrijloopsap en het geperste sap in verschillende containers gevinifieerd: de ene helft in roestvrijstalen vaten en de rest in grote eikenhouten vaten.De geur van de Chateau D'Esclans Rock Angel Rose
Deze rosé heeft een complexer en gestructureerd smaakprofiel dan Whispering Angel, waardoor hij naar een meer premium rijk wordt gebracht, waardoor roséliefhebbers een grotere en rijkere wijn krijgen. De Rock Angel heeft een zeer lichtroze kleur met delicate tonen van rood fruit en bloemen. Het is aangenaam en tonisch in de mond.
