Druiven : 100% Sangiovese

Wijn en gerecht : Verfijnde fluweelzachte vrouwelijke wijn bij Parma ham, Fazant, Kip, Gemengde kaasschotels.

De wijn : De neus onthult aroma's van bramen en lichte toetsen van leer, eikenhout, mineraliteit geassocieerd met hints van verse cassis, kleine verse rode bessen met een zeer discrete geroosterde hint. De smaak is fruitig, sappig, zacht en biedt een mooie boddy met een fijne fraicheur. In de mond drukt deze wijn tonen uit van framboos, rode bes en sappige pruim, gecombineerd met lichte / discrete hints van kersen, cassis, zwarte olijven en een vleugje zoethout en een zeer discrete / onmerkbare geroosterde hints. Heel mooie lange afdronk met weinig tannines.

Serveertip  : Karafferen  - Zeker enkele uren op voorhand karafferen ! Door de wijn veel lucht te geven worden de tannines versneld zachter. Karafferen gaat zo: schenk de wijn over in een ruime karaf zodat de wijn goed in contact komt met zuurstof. De aroma's komen zo mooi 'los' en de wijn 'geeft' zich beter.

Borgo Scopeto

Een boerderij met een oppervlakte van 503 hectare, gelegen in de gemeente Castelnuovo Berardenga, (Siênna) op een hoogte tussen 350 en 420 meter, voornamelijk gelegen op kleiachtige mergelrotsen, aangetast door steenachtige elementen die verband houden met kalksteen.

Het wijngaardgebied van Borgo Scopeto is 70 hectare, waarvan 40 in Chianti Classico bestaan uit gedifferentieerde klonen van Sangiovese. De opbrengst aan druiven per hectare is gemiddeld Q.li. 50/60. De wijngaarden van het bedrijf Borgo Scopeto bevinden zich op een hoogte tussen 350 en 420 meter boven zeeniveau. en hun blootstelling is voornamelijk naar het zuiden, zuidwesten. De bodems zijn typerend voor het Chianti-gebied: zandsteen met zandsteen en kleiachtige leem. 

De vinificatiekelder bestaat uit 50 roestvrijstalen tanks met een capaciteit van 11 tot 260 hectoliter, voor een totaal van 7000 hectoliter. De verfijning / veroudering van onze wijnen vindt plaats in Slavonische eikenhouten vaten van 30 hectoliter en in Franse eikenhouten tonneaux van 300/500 liter. Elke verouderingskamer is uitgerust met een automatische regeling van de omgevingstemperatuur en een luchtbevochtiger die de luchtvochtigheid het hele jaar constant houdt. Aan dit alles wordt een moderne bottellijn toegevoegd die is uitgerust met de meest geavanceerde technologieën om maximale hygiënische veiligheid te garanderen en waarmee we een constant kwaliteitsniveau kunnen handhaven vanaf het begin van het proces tot het bottelen. Vervolgens zal het aldus gebottelde product gedurende een variabele periode, afhankelijk van het soort wijn, liggend in een thermo-geconditioneerde ruimte liggen om het verfijningsproces te voltooien voordat het op de markt wordt gebracht.

Durable, Flavorful, Chew Toy

This bacon flavored scorpion shaped dog toy has been a huge hit with my Labrador. The material feels extremely durable and appears to be made from a hard nylon that can stand up to serious chewing. At first, I was skeptical about the bacon scent because I couldn’t smell anything when I opened the package. The moment my dog started chewing on it, though, the bacon scent became much more noticeable. Anyone else who doesn’t smell it immediately shouldn’t worry because it definitely seems to activate once the toy gets some use. My dog is an enthusiastic chewer and has not been able to destroy this toy. Even better, I haven’t seen any meaningful signs of wear, gouging, or damage despite repeated chewing sessions. That level of durability is exactly what I was hoping for. The design also includes areas where treats can be added for extra enrichment, which adds even more value. Most importantly, it has seemed very safe during use, and I haven’t had to worry about pieces breaking off. Overall, this toy has been durable, engaging, and well worth it. My dog loves it, and I love having a chew toy that can actually survive more than a few days.

Built Tough Enough to Handle Serious Chewers

This toy is noticeably harder and denser than standard dog chew toys, which is the whole point. My dog went after it immediately and the nylon held up through serious chewing sessions without gouging, cracking, or pieces breaking off. For a dog that destroys softer toys in minutes, this actually lasts. Based on a few weeks of use I would expect it to hold up for a month or longer depending on the dog, which is significantly better than most toys in this price range. The peanut butter groove is the engagement feature that makes a difference. Stuffing it with peanut butter or other spreadable treats keeps a dog interested longer than just chewing on it plain. The scorpion shape (though it resembles a lobster to some eyes) gives multiple parts to chew on, so the dog can rotate between the legs and tail when one section gets boring. That variety helps extend how long the toy stays interesting. Cleanup is straightforward since it is dishwasher safe, which matters after using peanut butter or other treats in the groove. The teeth cleaning claim is harder to verify in short-term use, but as a durable boredom relief toy for aggressive chewers this performs solidly. It is the kind of toy that actually justifies the price because it does not end up in the trash after a week.

Crawfish that cleans her teeth and tastes like bacon, enough said.

This chew toy is for a medium to large-sized dog and smells like bacon, and who doesn't love bacon? The toy has a heavy-duty safe for dogs nylon core, making it virtually indestructible for aggressive, all-day chewers like my dog. I am from Louisiana, and I love all things crawfish. I thought if she didn't like it, then I could use it to decorate for crawfish parties, but she loves this toy. There is a groove for treats like peanut butter or cheese, whatever your dog is into. My dog likes carrying it around, but I don't think she understands to chew on it yet. However, she must love the bacon taste in her mouth because she hardly takes it out. I wanted her to chew on it to help clean her teeth; maybe in time, she will start. This toy is dishwasher safe after rinsing it off with soapy warm water. Just place it on the top rack and turn it on. The crawfish is smooth and non-porous, so there are no spots for bacteria to hide. I really like this crawfish, and I hope that in time my little weirdo will understand that it is meant to be chewed, not sucked on. I highly recommend this for larger dogs that love to chew, and I am happy with this order.

Our dogs wouldn’t touch this chew toy

I ordered this Bacon Flavored Nylon Chew Toy for my boxer mix dog. She sniffed it and wouldn’t have anything to do with it. We waited a day and still no luck. We figured that we would give it to our pit bull because she can annihilate a chew toy. Nope, she wouldn’t touch it. The thing looks like a big chunk of plastic with a very faint smell of bacon. Based on our experience with this product I cannot recommend it.
