Deze veelzijdige en bekroonde rub van het succesvolle BBQ-team Southern Dutch BBQ is een absolute allrounder. Oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld voor vlees en gevogelte, maar inmiddels bewezen onweerstaanbaar op aardappels, groenten, en zelfs als finishing touch op snacks. Of je nu low & slow bereidt of op hoge temperatuur grilt: Season it All geeft je gerecht een diepe smaak en een prachtige mahoniekleur.

In 2023 werd deze rub bekroond met een perfecte score tijdens de American Royal – World Series of Barbecue Rub Contest, ’s werelds grootste rub-wedstrijd. Slechts vier van de 333 inzendingen kregen deze eer, en Season it All werd uiteindelijk uitgeroepen tot beste Europese rub met een zilveren overall prijs.

De rub wordt geleverd in een stevige 290 gram verpakking met schroefdeksel, waardoor hij lang houdbaar en handig in gebruik is. Ideaal voor iedereen die regelmatig grilt of experimenteert in de keuken — thuis of op wedstrijden.

De smaak

Een mooie balans van zoet, zout en kruidig. De combinatie van rietsuiker, paprika, chili, zwarte én witte peper zorgt voor een warme, licht pittige smaak. De rub bevat daarnaast knoflook, ui en een vleug Szechuanpeper voor een subtiele citrusachtige twist. Perfect voor wie houdt van diepgang zonder dat het té scherp wordt.

Heerlijk met:
• Pulled pork, spareribs, kippenbouten
• Aardappelpartjes, friet of gepofte zoete aardappel
• Geroosterde groenten, bloemkoolsteaks
• Nacho’s of popcorn met een hartige kick

Ingrediënten:

Rietsuiker, zout, paprikapoeder, zwarte peper, chilipoeder, witte peper, zeezout, knoflook, ui, smaakversterkers (E621, E635), natuurlijk aroma, kleurstof (paprika-extract), natuurlijk aroma van Szechuanpeper, aroma, antiklontermiddel (E551).

BBQ-tip:

Strooi de rub royaal over aardappeltjes of groenten en rooster ze indirect op de BBQ. Voor een extra krokant korstje kun je de rub mengen met een beetje olie.

Van meat tot veggies: deze rub tilt echt alles naar een hoger niveau.
