Virbac Dermacool Hot Spot 50 ml is een verkoelend, indrogend, jeukstillend en verzacht middel bij nat eczeem inclusief hot spot. Hierdoor zullen het bijten en krabben door het dier verminderen en verder trauma worden voorkomen. Menthol werkt verkoelend; hamamelis is door de adstringerende werkende indrogen en parachloormetaxylenol heeft desinfecterende eigenschappen. Propyleenglycol en glycerol werken verzacht en zijn niet irriterend. Spheruliten zijn in lagen vloeibare micro-bolletjes die zorgen voor een vertraagde afgifte van werkzame stoffen en daarmee voor een langdurige werkzame werking. Chitosanide is een afbreekbaar biopolymeer dat zich met de sferuliten aan de huid en haren hecht en een vochtregulerende werking heeft.
