The outer fabric (1000D High Tenacity Polyester) with a Diamond Quilted pattern makes it a lot harder for the horse to bite in the fabric and tear it up.The stable rug features double front closures and a Velcro on the chest as well as two cross surcingles that are reinforced with artificial leather. This is the best pillow I’ve ever had! Supportive yet soft. Never goes flat. I’m a side sleeper and I have neck and shoulder pain and this pillow keeps my head and neck in alignment.
