Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside consists of a combination of caprylyl and caprylic compounds with glucose, derived from plant sources. Fatty alcohols obtained from vegetable oils such as coconut oil and rapeseed oil, and glucose derived from plants form the basis of this substance. These two are joined together in a process called "glycosylation," in which the sugar chains of glucose are connected to the fatty alcohols.
