De UGG Heritage Utility Mini is een suède enkellaars die de vertrouwde UGG-warmte combineert met een robuustere, outdoor-gerichte constructie. De bovenkant is opgebouwd uit zacht suède in een warme kastanjebruine tint, met een bewust licht geslouchte schacht die deze laars zijn ontspannen silhouet geeft. Aan de binnenkant zit de kenmerkende UGGplush™ voering van 17mm, samengesteld uit 60% gerecycelde wol en 40% Tencel™ lyocell, die vocht reguleert en de voet warm houdt zonder klam te worden. De inlegzool is voor minimaal 50% biobased en behoudt zijn veerkracht na langdurig dragen. Waar de klassieke UGG op een platte zool staat, tilt deze Heritage Utility de laars op een lichtgewicht zool van suikerriet-EVA met ingebouwde Spider Rubber® pods voor grip op natte en ongelijke ondergrond. De grove noppen onder de zool maken het verschil tussen een pantoffel-achtige UGG en een laars die je daadwerkelijk buiten draagt. Een suède hielversteviging en een praktische treklus aan de achterkant maken het aantrekken eenvoudig en houden de pasvorm op zijn plek. Deze suède UGG-laars is gemaakt in de Filipijnen volgens de constructiestandaard die het merk al decennia hanteert.

Qua maat valt de Heritage Utility Mini normaal uit, dus je kunt je gebruikelijke schoenmaat aanhouden. Het suède en de wollen voering geven aan het begin licht mee en vormen zich na enkele keren dragen naar de voet, waardoor de pasvorm na de eerste week comfortabeler aanvoelt dan bij het aantrekken. UGG adviseert deze laars op blote voet of met een dunne sok te dragen, omdat de UGGplush™ voering zelf al voor isolatie zorgt. Twijfel je tussen twee maten omdat je dikke sokken wilt dragen, neem dan een halve maat groter zodat de voering niet platgedrukt wordt. De schacht blijft bewust los rond de enkel zitten en hoeft niet strak te sluiten.

Draag de Heritage Utility Mini onder een rechte donkere jeans of een verwassen carpenter broek, met een grof gebreide trui en een gewatteerde jas voor de koudere maanden. De kastanjebruine suède werkt net zo goed bij aardetinten als bij marineblauw en grijs, waardoor de laars in een winters palet vrijwel overal op aansluit. Het is de combinatie van herkenbare UGG-warmte en een zool die tegen het echte weer kan die deze laars nu de moeite waard maakt.

UGG ontstond in 1978 toen een Australische surfer de schapenvacht-laars naar Californië bracht, waar hij uitgroeide tot een cultureel fenomeen. Received giftcard money to replace my plan-protected malfunctioning motherboard
I've been subscribing to the Asurion protection plan for a while. Recently, an Asus Prime PC motherboard I had bought a few months ago on Amazon stopped working well. I ended up considering filing a claim with Asurion to see if they would either fix/replace it or issue the purchase price money, so I could buy the failed electronics replacement component again for my custom-built PC. I went to the protection plan's website and started the claim filing process but couldn't find the category my failed component would be under in order to select it from the drop-down list. I ended up messaging the live customer service. The chat messaging was somewhat slow, the agent told me they were experiencing some communication delays throughout their systems. Ultimately, the agent was very kind and understanding, and completed the claim filing process for me on her side by asking me to provide the necessary info such as the item's product name, date of purchase, price before taxes, etc. I received a printable UPS shipping label in the email, printed it, and returned the item in the mail. Approximately 2 days later, I received an Amazon giftcard code in the email with the dollar amount equal to the item's price before the sales tax. Then I redeemed the giftcard code on the Amazon page and proceeded to apply the giftcard money to my next purchase of a replacement Asus prime motherboard, and it all worked out successfully. Therefore, I had no issues with the protection plan service and recommend it to others.

The process was very smooth and fairly quick. The only challenge I had was that the CLAIM status showed complete but I had to manually go look up the status. There was no email or notification it was closed. After manually checking the status, I called customer support and they said since I called in, they would process the payout. I wonder if I didnt call in if they would have processed it? Also, the phone rep said they would issue me a amazon egift card but then the next day I received a email saying they mailed out the payout. Very poor communication but so far the process was easy and fast.

Cheap Insurance - Easy Claims Process!
I bought this warranty plan for a Dell monitor about 3.5 years ago. About a month ago, it started to give me some intermittent problems (very fast flickering & image retention). I tried everything I could to troubleshoot the issue, but it just kept coming back. I had some issues with logging into my Asurion account because I used an EDU email, which I no longer have access to. I sent a message to Asurion here on Amazon and they sent me my plan details and everything I needed to make a claim within 24 hrs. Once I was able to log into my account online, the claims process couldn't be faster/easier. I used the chat function and provided the rep with the issues I was having with my monitor. The rep immediately emailed me a pre-paid UPS label to send my monitor to one of their repair facilities. I got another email when my monitor was received stating that repairs could take up to 5 business days. However, the very next day I got another email stating that my monitor couldn't be repaired and they would be reimbursing me the full purchase price. I received another email with an Amazon gift card for the full price of the monitor within minutes. This is my first experience with Asurion and I'm very impressed. The customer service is top notch. If I ever buy another expensive electronic item from Amazon, I'm definitely buying an extended warranty from Asurion.
