Deze bladverliezende boom kan een hoogte van 30 meter bereiken. De Juglans regia 'Buccaneer' op stam heeft een opgaande groeiwijze met een smalle, ronde kroonvorm. Het donkergroene blad is oneven geveerd en eirond- tot ovaalvormig met een gezaagde bladrand. In mei tot en met juni verschijnen er onopvallende groene katjes aan de plant. Het is een zelfbestuiver waar zich na de bloei grote, langwerpige nootachtige vruchten in een bolster ontwikkelen. Deze notenboom soort is eetbaar! De walnoot 'Buccaneer' op stam houdt van een plaats in de zon of halfschaduw. Hij groeit het best op iedere goed doorlaten, vochtig en kalkrijke bodem. Hij verdraagt een temperatuur tot -30 gr.C.

LOVE IT but cooling depends on readjusting frequently

I’ve actually been pretty happy with this product overall, especially for comfort and the initial cooling effect. When you first sit or lay on it, it definitely feels cool and refreshing, which is a huge relief if you run warm or live somewhere hot.
