The buttons are hard to press when you first get them but get a little easier to press over time. I still have issues remembering how to change the time and typically have to look up how. The silver parts on the front do wear out over time and turn copper colored. I wore one of these watches for around 5 years before buying a new one when the band which holds the excess space from the band broke. Attached is a picture of the watch that I wore for at least 5 years and a brand new one that I bought.

However if you call Timex support they will email you the manual if you give them the model number which is included in Amazon's product description. However even with the manual watch is very hard to set. It lacks some functions normally Timex has like time can only be set up there is no down button. And most importantly display is minuscule. So it is really hard to read to set. Watch is a ladies watch. It is small and I like it a lot. But buttons are hard to operate and it is hard to read.
