Op de iMac 27 inch A1419 uit eind 2012 en eind 2013 met 2K-paneel (LM270WQ1 SD/F1 of SD/F2, OEM 661-7169). Niet compatibel met de Retina 5K-versies van 2014 en later.

Welk gereedschap heb ik nodig?
Een iMac opening wheel (pizza-cutter) om de tape rondom het paneel los te snijden, plastic prytools en zuignappen om het glas op te lichten, T10 Torx en Phillips PH00, isopropanol om lijmresten te verwijderen, vervangende display-tape en een antistatische polsband.

Hoe moeilijk is de installatie?
🔴 moeilijk: het scherm is volledig op het frame gelijmd. Snij je te diep, dan beschadig je de antenne-flex en LVDS-kabels langs de bovenrand. Aanbevolen voor reparatieshops of ervaren techneuten.
